A recent bereavement forces the sale of Fals Cappa.

We have owned Fals Cappa since March 2010 and have done extensive work on her (I am a boat-builder by trade). She is ashore near Faversham, Kent, UK.

Call 07865 091155 for more details on this beautiful classic yacht.

General

Fals Cappa was built in 1969, a Mark VII, hull number 171. She has five berths. In the main cabin there is a double berth and a single. The double can be reduced to a single in order to create more space around the dining table. In the fore cabin there are two single berths. Heads contains a Lavac tiolet in good order, basin, lockers and mirror. Large chart table to starboard, Calor stove with oven to port. Catalytic cabin heater. Fals Cappa boasts a 'princess chair', a removable thwart across the stern deck and a new laminated tiller in Brazilian mahogany and ash.

Engine

Fals Cappa has a modern three cylinder Perkins Perama M20 diesel engine which is regularly and carefully maintained. The reduction gearbox swings a two bladed propeller which can be aligned with the hull to reduce drag (especially useful if racing and as good as those with expensive feathering props!). 20 hp is perfectly adequate with regard to power and, of course, is lighter than more powerful engines.

New 316 SS propshaft in 2019. Shaft also has a PSS Superseal fitted (2013)
